GRAND RE-OPENING JULY 10 MESSAGE

GREAT NEWS -  Skatelandsavoy will be having a GRAND RE-OPENING for skating and laser tag on Friday, July 10 from 7:00p.m.to 10:00p.m.  Please check our hours page for other skating and laser tag times.  We look forward to seeing  all of our skating friends on July 10 from 7:00p.m. to 10:00p.m. 
 
We have spent many hours preparing to bring our valued staff and customers back to the rink. We submitted a re-opening safety plan to the Champaign County Health District which was accepted and approved.  Tables and arcade games have been removed or relocated to maintain 6ft. distancing requirements. Staff will be wearing masks/face shield at all times. We will have a sanitation specialist working all sessions whose only responsibility will be to clean and sanitize.  All rental skates will be sanitized when handed out and when returned.  We have sanitized ten thousand game tokens and will continue to do this on-going. We have installed sanitation stations throughout the rink. We have changed the Saturday schedule to 3 separate sessions to accommodate phase 4 occupancy requirements and build in scheduled facility cleaning throughout the day.  We will limit laser tag to 10 individuals. Vests will be sanitized before and after each use.  The State will require that customers in the rink wear face masks on and off the skating floor. We will have masks available for purchase if needed. Due to phase 4 occupancy requirements all persons will have to pay admit price to enter the facility.  Individuals will no longer be able to watch for free. At this time the kids skate free program will not be available. We hope when phase 4 restrictions are lifted and we can return to our prior skating schedule and occupancy levels, we can remove some of the new policies implemented.  Skateland has been in the community for over 40 years and we ask for your continued business and support as we adjust to our new normal.
